The land of the Pharaohs, Egypt is a hotly visited destination year round. This country, situated in the north eastern region of Africa is bordered by Israel, Libya and Sudan on each side and is connected to the Asian continent via the Sinai Peninsula. It is fed from the waters of the Great Nile and therefore boasts of vast expanses of fertile valleys towards the East and large expanses of desserts towards the West.

If one wishes to visit this majestic land then they shall have to arrange for a Visiting visa ahead of their trip from the Egyptian embassy or consulate located in their home country. Some travelers are allowed to receive visa permits upon landing while almost everyone else has to get one approved prior to landing. Getting in and out of the country is quite easy as all modes of transport are well established to accommodate the heavy influx of tourists. One can travel here by plane, train or even by road either by bus or car on rent. The month of Ramadan is a special treat all those who wish to take in the full glory of the country.
